Each piece is crafted from a hybrid of compacted beech wood dust and magnesium, forming a dialogue between waste and technology, permanence and impermanence. Shot in a Welsh slate quarry, the highest in the UK, the setting reinforces the collection’s themes of legacy, industrial decay, and poetic resilience. Dust Order reflects on how the physical and virtual overlap in today’s design landscape, offering objects that feel at once grounded and otherworldly.
