It was pretty tricky to restore the dial with a lot of wind noise. Recreate the ocean, waves and FX was a pleasure, close sensations to ASMR sound design

The sound FX party.

Videos with so many actions and situations require an homogeneous ambiences to compact the different scenes and to introduce sound effects before and after the actions to, in a moment, transmitting to the audience what happens.

FRAMED

The game of the distorted representation of the reality.

This sound design had to match the visual distortion and disorientation of the characters. I liked to play between sharp and distorted sound and to focus basically on ambience instead of sound FX.

FEARLESS

A project that aims at transmitting the sensations of the effort, of the self-improvement, of success.

On this video sound has a big presence on details, textures, reverbs... every single object has its own personality and they all play with each other rhythmically. The main player of this project is reverb, merging all the actions and moving the audience through an empty stadium, perceiving the sensations of the player.

ORION

The mute project. I was hired to bring back to life this beautiful story, full from postproduction.

The yin and yang characters have personal sounds for steps, impacts, breaths... so the spectator could recognize them just by listening. Ambiences are the key element in this project: two different realities and spaces, as the story goes forward, the ambiances interwine, combining the feeling of pain and life and bringing both stories closer.

Note: This mix was created specifically for 5.1 cinema audition.

HOY ME HA PASADO ALGO MUY BESTIA

The action story, based on a comic. The key aspect is balancing the style of sound between reality and fiction, especially in the action scenes. Fiction offers the opportunity to sound design from scratch, creating something non-existent. Composing and producing the electronic OST was a great challenge.
